LEGAL
Terms of Service
Effective and last updated: October 7, 2026
These Terms of Service govern your use of RevenueGuard and revenueguardhq.com. By creating an account, subscribing, or using the service, you agree to these Terms.
1. The service
RevenueGuard provides software tools for creators and related businesses to organize brand deals, invoices, payment deadlines, contract terms, usage rights, evidence, and renewal opportunities. Features may change as the product develops.
2. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into an agreement. You are responsible for accurate account information, safeguarding your credentials, and activity occurring through your account.
3. Subscription and billing
RevenueGuard Creator is offered to new subscribers at $49 USD per month. Existing subscribers may continue at the rate attached to their existing Stripe subscription. There is no free trial unless we expressly offer one. Billing is handled by Stripe. Your subscription renews automatically until cancelled.
We may change pricing for future billing periods by providing reasonable notice where required. Taxes may apply depending on your location and applicable law.
4. Cancellation and refunds
You may cancel your subscription to stop future renewals. Unless otherwise required by law, cancellation does not create a prorated refund for the current billing period. Our Cancellation & Refund Policy forms part of these Terms.
5. Your content
You retain ownership of the contracts, notes, evidence, deal information, and other content you submit. You grant RevenueGuard the limited rights necessary to host, process, display, and otherwise use that content solely to provide, secure, maintain, and improve the service.
You represent that you have the rights needed to provide content to RevenueGuard and that doing so does not unlawfully infringe another person's rights.
6. Acceptable use
You may not use RevenueGuard to violate law, infringe intellectual-property or privacy rights, upload malicious code, interfere with the service, gain unauthorized access, misrepresent evidence, harass others, or use automated methods that materially burden or abuse the service.
7. Contract analysis and revenue alerts
RevenueGuard is not a law firm and does not provide legal, accounting, tax, or financial advice. Contract analysis, rights-expiry alerts, evidence flags, revenue-at-risk figures, and similar outputs are informational workflow tools and may be incomplete or incorrect. You are responsible for reviewing source documents and obtaining qualified professional advice when appropriate.
RevenueGuard does not guarantee that it will identify every unpaid amount, rights issue, unauthorized use, renewal opportunity, or contract risk, and it does not guarantee recovery of money.
8. Third-party services
RevenueGuard may depend on third-party services, including Stripe and infrastructure providers. Their availability and terms are outside RevenueGuard's control, and use of third-party services may be subject to separate terms.
9. Availability and changes
We aim to keep RevenueGuard available and useful, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features when reasonably necessary for maintenance, security, product development, legal compliance, or other operational reasons.
10. Intellectual property
RevenueGuard's software, branding, design, and other service materials are owned by RevenueGuard or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not transfer ownership of RevenueGuard intellectual property to you.
11. Disclaimer of warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by law, RevenueGuard is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties not expressly stated in these Terms.
12. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, RevenueGuard will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, business opportunities, or goodwill arising from use of the service. Where liability cannot be excluded, RevenueGuard's aggregate liability relating to the service will not exceed the amount you paid to RevenueGuard during the 12 months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
13. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary for non-payment, security, abuse, unlawful activity, material breach of these Terms, or protection of RevenueGuard and its users. You may stop using the service at any time.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia and the applicable federal laws of Canada, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory consumer law requires otherwise.
15. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as the service evolves. If a change is material, we will provide notice where reasonably required. Continued use after an updated version becomes effective constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by law.
